MONDAY
6:00–7:00 pm: Beginner Class
7:00–8:30 pm: Advanced Class

6:00–7:30 pm: Black Belt Class

6:00–7:00 pm: Beginner Class
7:00–9:00 pm: Advanced Class with Conditioning

THURSDAY
6:00–7:30 pm: Tai Chi

SATURDAY
10:30 am–12:30 pm: Open Gym


Beginner classes start at 6 pm every Monday and Wednesday. We welcome visitors to watch or even take one class for free (just dress to work out).

FIRST CLASS

Your first class will focus on learning our warm-up series which includes push-ups, sit-ups, squats, ab-work and stretching. From the warm-ups we will move into the basics: horse and bow stances, proper punching and kicking mechanics, and lots of practice.

Your second class will be review and then, most likely, an introduction into some basic self-defense concepts. We typically spend several weeks working on self-defense, and after that, everything just keeps flowing. You learn at your own pace. We won't rush you or hold you back.

TAI CHI

Though Tai Chi is a part of the normal material for upper-level Shaolin-Do students, we also offer separate classes for those interested in only Tai Chi. Classes are every Thursday at 6 pm. More about Tai Chi...

PRICING

In order to maintain a high level of dedication, we encourage all students to sign a contract for payment. A one-year contract costs $75/month, and a two-year contract costs $60/month. Without a contract, kung fu classes cost $90/month. Tai Chi classes are $60/month, and we require a 3-month commitment when first starting. Discounts are available for families and those who want to attend both kung fu and Tai Chi classes. For more information, please call or visit us.

You must be 18 or bring in a parent to sign the waiver before taking any class! Warning: Please check with your doctor before starting any exercise program. If you have heart problems, high blood pressure or other cardio-vascular issues or have otherwise been cautioned about intense exercise please consult with your doctor and tell us at Shaolin-Do about any of these conditions before you start.
